Mission:
The mission of The University of Westen Autism Centre of Excellence (ACE) is to lead in the generation, advancement and dissemination of knowledge in autism.

Vision: ACE is an international leader in the advancement of interdisciplinary scholarly and scientific research and clinical training to improve the quality of life of individuals with autism and their families.

Mandate: ACE is committed to:

  • Facilitate and create a research community of scholars by prompting partnerships and collaborations.
  • Provide graduate training of highly qualified personnel
  • Support the needs of individuals and families with autism as well as service providers by providing current research and information on autism to the community
  • Create opportunities for knowledge exchange to promote evidence based practice
